Our Story
AquaFlow Uganda was born from a simple but urgent truth: millions of Ugandans live within reach of groundwater yet walk hours each day to collect it.
Founded in 2014 by a team of Ugandan and East African water engineers, AquaFlow started with a single drilling rig in Kampala and a mission to change that reality — one borehole at a time. Today, we operate across 12 Ugandan districts and 4 East African countries, with a team of 85 engineers, technicians, and community development officers.
We don't just dig holes and walk away. We conduct community water committee training, provide 12-month maintenance support, and partner with local governments and NGOs to ensure every system we build keeps running for decades. Our solar water programmes have eliminated diesel costs for over 60 rural communities — making water not just accessible, but permanently affordable.
From a 3-person startup to Uganda's leading water engineering company — every drop we deliver is part of a bigger story of transformation.
